Mississippi Driving Routes

To get the most out of a trip on Mississippi's highways and byways, slow down and stop often. Even a short drive can provide hours of delightful discoveries, from great shops and quirky little attractions to mouth watering tastes.

The Natchez Trace Parkway is 444-miles from Natchez, Mississippi to Nashville, Tennessee. Following an enchanted route through lush forests the Trace delves deep into Mississippi's history as it was first used by Native Americans thousands of years ago. Another historical trail in Mississippi is the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail which features four walking trails.

The Mississippi Blues Trail celebrates the musicians and heritage of Mississippi blues as you follow the markers throughout the state.
