Southern Seasoned Corn

* 2 slices Bacon
* ½ cup sliced Green Onions
* 3 cups sliced Mushrooms
* 4 ears Corn, kernels cut from the cob
* 1/4 cup water
* Salt and Pepper to taste

Cook bacon crisp. Break into pieces and set aside. Discard almost all of the bacon grease.

Sauté onion and mushrooms in same pan as bacon, cooking about 4 minutes. Add corn kernels and cook about 5 minutes until corn is crisp and tender. Remove from heat and stir-in bacon pieces.

Season to taste with salt and pepper.
