Chocolate Chili
INGREDIENTS
* 2 - 2/3 lbs. ground Chuck
* 1 - 1/3 lbs. lean Pork Loin (cubed, fairly small)
* Two 28 oz. cans diced
Tomatoes
* 4 cloves minced Garlic
* 3 teaspoons dried Cilantro
* 2 tablespoons all-purpose
Flour
* 4 teaspoons ground Cumin
* 4 teaspoons Kosher Salt
* 1 teaspoon ground Oregano
* 6 tablespoons Chili Powder
* 3 cups chopped Onions
* 3 oz. semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
Cook beef in large boiler until brown. Add pork and brown. Stir in tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, flour, cumin, salt, onions, oregano and chili powder. Simmer for 1 hour. Add chocolate. Stir to combine. Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes to blend flavors. Garnish with green onions, sour cream, and sharp cheddar cheese.
